Jonathan Feiber, Partner, Mohr Davidow Ventures

Jonathan Feiber has identified and guided numerous entrepreneurs, and played a significant role in advising management teams during his more than 15 years of venture investing at MDV. He leads investments in computing and infrastructure companies. His investments include Brocade, Collabra, Epigram, hi5, Ipsilon, Kalpana, ONI Systems, Panasas, Proofpoint, and Zip2. Before joining MDV, Jonathan was Sun Microsystems' vice president of networking. He launched his career as a senior engineer at Amdahl. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and mathematics from the University of Colorado.

Christopher P. Lynch, Senior Vice President of Data Solutions, F5 Networks

Chris Lynch oversees F5's data solution technology portfolio. Before its acquisition by F5, Lynch served as president and CEO of Acopia Networks. Previously, Lynch served as vice president of Worldwide Content Delivery Networking Sales at Cisco Systems and was vice president of worldwide sales, marketing, and support at ArrowPoint Communications, which was acquired by Cisco. He also served as vice president of North American sales at Prominet Corp., which was acquired by Lucent. Lynch holds a BA in business management from Suffolk University and an MBA from Bentley College.

Dan Maltbie, Founder and Chief Product Officer, Woven Systems

Dan Maltbie is a 27-year veteran of the networking industry focused on the design and development of new technology and products ranging from storage switches and IP routers to video encoding systems and Ethernet fabric switches. Before co-founding Woven Systems, Dan served as vice president of engineering at Sanera Systems, a provider of director-class Fibre Channel switches, which was later acquired by McDATA. Before Sanera, he was vice president of engineering for Caspian Networks where his team developed a telecom-class IP router. Previously, he was vice president of engineering at DiviCom, a video encoding system provider which is now part of Harmonic Lightwave. Earlier Dan held engineering and management roles of increasing importance at Hewlett Packard, where he represented the company in Ethernet IEEE 802 standards activities. Dan studied computer science and astrophysics at Indiana University.

Bob Obuch, Partner, Palomar Ventures

Bob Obuch has over 35 years of executive management and venture capital experience. Prior to joining Palomar, Bob was a founding partner of BA Ventures, the venture capital arm of Bank of America. While at BAVP, Bob took an active role in Cogency Software, INNOVION, Prolinx, SpeechWorks, Synthon, and VNUS Medical. Over the years Bob led numerous successful ventures including Aurum/BAAN, XLNT/Intel and NetDialog/KANA. Earlier in his career, Bob was president and CEO of two software application companies, Computerized Lodging Systems, Inc. and Command Data Systems. He also served as executive vice president of sales and marketing for Multimate International and as vice president and general manager for Systems and Computer Technology, Inc. Bob currently serves on the boards of Strix Systems, Ravenflow, Fulcrum, Mixed Signals, and Woven Systems. Bob earned his CPA while working with Arthur Young and Company after graduating from Seton Hall University.

Pete Perrone, Managing Director, Goldman Sachs

Pete Perrone is a managing director in Goldman, Sachs & Co.'s Principal Investment Area, where, since 2000, he has focused on technology infrastructure, including the computing, communications, storage, and semiconductor sectors. Prior to that, Pete worked in the High Technology Group at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he started as an associate in 1999. Before joining Goldman Sachs, Pete held positions in engineering and finance with Westinghouse Electric and Applied Synergistics, a startup servicing the power industry. He also currently serves on the board of directors of Alltel, Limelight Networks, Teneros, Tervela, Woven Systems, and Veoh Networks. Pete received a BSEE from Duke University, an MSEE from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Sloan School of Management.

Jeff Thermond, CEO and President, Woven Systems

Jeff Thermond's 30-year career encompasses an impressive track record in leading and growing large organizations in global broadband and data networking markets. He led the team that established Broadcom's first foray into wireless products which grew to a quarter of a billion dollars in five quarters. Before becoming a part of Broadcom, Jeff was the CEO of Epigram which pioneered the high speed home networking marketplace for semiconductors, which has grown into a multi-hundred million dollar market today. He later architected the sale of Epigram to Broadcom for what was the largest amount ever paid for a pre-revenue semiconductor start-up. He also served as vice president and general manager of 3Com's enterprise router business, growing it from $60 million to $350 million during his tenure. Jeff holds an MBA in marketing from Indiana University and a BA in psychology and philosophy from Yale University.
